Sea World San Diego does have a program where you can get up close to the Beluga Whales. It’s called the "Wild Arctic Interaction Program". (They also have a Dolphin Interaction Program.) Participants must be at least 6 years old. Although the website does not state whether children must be accompanied by an adult during the program, they may require it for younger children. The program costs $170 and does not include park admission.

For questions or reservations, give them a call at 1-800-257-4268 (extension #7) or email SWC-ContactCenter@Anheuser-Busch.com

I’ve done the "Trainer for a Day" program there and they’ll take very good care of you.

If you can’t afford to do one of the animal interactions, I’d highly recommend the Behind The Scenes Tour ($13/per person) or the Animal Spotlight Tour ($42). You’ll get to see/do stuff that most park visitors don’t.

    Enjoy your trip!

You have to be 14 or older to do it by yourself. It is 170 dollars and i don’t know if you get spun by the beluga whale.
