My friend’s family is leaving for Disney World on Friday. Nobody in the family has ever been to Disney before. They have a son who is 15 and will be going into 9th grade, a son who is 12 and going into 7th grade, a son who is 8 going into 4th grade, and a daughter who is 5 going into Kindergarten. What restaurants/rides/things to do would be most condusive to their family? They can go into Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, and Animal Kingdom and will NOT be staying on Disney property. They will be there for a week. Also, their daughter’s birthday is while they are down there, is there a special place they could take her for a meal or special activity, and a place to have her ears pierced? Thanks so much!

Me and my girlfriend are going to Disney World and we were wondering how much money we should bring. We already bought our airplane tickets and we have a Disney World pass for 5 days and we are staying at a hotel for 7 nights so we may go to Universal Studios or SeaWorld. Anyways, how much money should we bring taking in consideration for food, drinks, restaurants, shows, gifts, etc.

My family and I just booked a trip to Disney World for 9 nights, 10 days, and I was wondering if you would give me some tips on where to eat. I’ve been to Disney before, but there are so many restaurants to choose from. Please, any advice?

We are traveling to WDW May 22 – May 26, 2008 — which happens to be Memorial Day weekend. Does anyone have any past experiences they would be willing to share regarding that particular holiday weekend at Disney World? We are assuming the crowds will be intense, but the availability at the hotels and restaurants is still really high. Hoping that the crowds will be more manageable than expected.
