Where do you think is the best character breakfast at Disney World?

We are traveling to Disney World this spring, and my husband and I along with another couple are wanting to book a character breakfast (what can I say, I’m a kid at heart). Also, we will not be going to Magic Kingdom this time. We would like a place with good food and an opportunity to meet some characters.

How can I get the most out of the Walt Disney World Dining plan?

How can I get the most out of the Walt Disney World Dining plan? I will using it for 3 days in 2008. There will be 2 adults and 2 kids. Which restaurants are the best to use it in? I know some you have to tip and others you don’t. Just wondering where I will get the most for my money. Then I will pay for my meals on my other days there. Thanks!
These are restaurants of interest to me (the ones I starred are of more interest):

*Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Show
50s Prime Time Cafe (but I think I read it was going to be closed when I am going)
*Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
California Grill
Akeshus
*Crystal Palace
Donald’s Breakfastosaurus
*Ohana Character Breakfast
Mama Melrose
*Teppanyaki
*Coral Reef
Marrekesh
Planet Hollywood
1900 Park Fare
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station
*Toy Story Pizza Planet

Please comment on these as far as the dining plan. Thanks! You can also comment on others you think I shouldn’t miss.

Also my kids are 3 and 5. Can I save my 3 year olds meals for another restaurant? He will have just turned 3 and at this point my kids always share a meal and still have leftovers.
One person mentions that I don’t have the most expensive ones on my list. Which ones are the most expensive? So I can use my points for those and then I will use my own money for the others.

Where would you recommend going to a birthday dinner in Disney World?

I’m planning a vacation to Disney World this Summer which happens to fall on my birthday. I’d like to do a character breakfast but I don’t want my dinner to fall short. I don’t want a character dinner and it doesn’t necessarily have to be a buffet. But i’d like my birthday dinner at Walt Disney World to be special as well as the breakfast. Which restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort would you recommend going to dinner on your birthday?
