I’m planning a trip around the world in a couple years. I’d like to do it as inexpensively as possible. I’m considering teaching English, couch surfing and countries that have mass transit to keep my traveling cost as low as possible. Some places I plan to visit are South America, Egypt, Baja Mexico, Australia, Japan, The Philippines and India. I’d like any additional ideas when considering a trip such as this.

I am planning on travelling around the world next year (UK -> USA -> Cook Islands -> New Zealand -> Australia -> Bali -> Athens).
I have looked into RTW tickets, and buying flights individually as you go around, as it gives you more flexibility, and you don’t have to pay for it all up front.
I have heard that it can also be cheaper that way if you get last minute flights etc. but does anyone have any experience of it, and whether it costs less/more (and how much more)? Can you even get cheap last minute flight offers from Australia to Bali etc?

Some of my friends live in other parts of the United States, and 3 are even in other countries around the world. We send letters and things, but we want to start sending a package with stuff in it, like a notebook full of pictures, poetry, etc. We want to circulate it around. I live in Florida, and the live in the US, Canada, England, and Australia.

How do I coordinate this cheaply and effectively? Are their laws in other countries that prevent me from doing this or sending certain items? The box is a relatively medium-sized box.

i go to penn state and i am doing a project about how we do not have enough vacation time in this country. we only have about 3 weeks of vacation compared to australia’s 6 and italy’s 7.8. what can i do to change it? is it a business thing, a state thing, or an individual business thing. help me. please
