Cheapest way to reach Sea World adventure park from Los Angeles?
I am planning on a trip to Sea World, San Diego from LA area. I need to know the cheapest and most efficent way to reach there. I don’t want to rent a car but can use public bus/metro.

You can take the train down, but the closest stop will be its destination station — downtown, necessitating a $25.00 cab ride.
So, you’d probably spend less by just renting a car. If you do so, drive south on I-5. Once you pass La Jolla, you’ll see signs for Sea World — you can see it about a mile to your right when you exit.
if not a car then the train
Take the MetroLink to Oceanside then get on the Coaster commuter train. The buses from there run every 9 mins. It’s by far the fastest and cheapest way to go. I’ve lived here all my life and have made the trip from SD to LA hundreds of times. Have fun Or the very cheapest way is to take the Greyhound but it takes a long time depending on traffic and it’s not very nice of a bus ride. While in San Diego buy a day pass for the bus system which will also allow you to ride the trolley for free. That will take you everywhere from inland to the Mexico border.
well the best idea is to take Amtrak to San Diego
try to find the trains that will stop at Old town
then you just take SDT line 8 or 9 to Sea world
station (some amtrak’s will stop here others wont )
but on the others you just have back track on the trolley right back to the old town station

Go to the main train station and take the Metrolink train to Oceanside. Get on the Coaster or Amtrak and get off 1 stop before downtown San Diego, it called Old Town. Get on I think the 935 bus which will take you to Seaworld. If you are going to go other places it’s worth it to buy a daypass for the transportation system. It allows you to ride any buses or trolley’s but also saves you money on your return ticket on the Coaster back up to Oceanside. If you are a student or disabled make sure to ask for the special fares. A month pass for disabled is only $15
